January 29th, 2020   Kingston, ON - The AMS Elections team would like to thank all of those who participated and voted in the 2019 Winter Election season. As of 8:00pm January 29th, 2020, the polls for the AMS Executive Election and the Rector election have concluded. AMS 2020 Winter Referendum Results

Below are the results of the 2020 Winter Referendum held among AMS members (undergraduate and MBA students at Queen’s). AMS voter turnout was 28.3%.  Do you agree to a change in CFRC's fee of $8.22 from individual opt out to mandatory collection for the next three years? AMS Mourns Passing of Peer

Students lead charge to have Fall Term Reading Break attached to Thanksgiving.

January 28th, 2020 Kingston, ON- In a meeting held earlier this evening, the Senate voted in favour of an amendment brought forward by AMS President Auston Pierce and Student Senate Caucus Chair David Niddam-Dent, to set the sessional dates for the 2021-2022 academic year.  The main goal of the amendment was to attach the 2021-2022 Fall Term Break to Thanksgiving long weekend.
