The Queen’s Space Engineering Team (QSET) is an independently run space design team. We have participated in various competitions such as: NASA’s Lunabotics Mining Competition, CanSat Competition, and the University Rover Challenge. In 2013, QSET hosted its first annual Queen’s Space Conference, which will be continued by the Queen’s Engineering Society. This year, we are planning on participating in URC again, and potentially pursuing other space initiatives and competitions.

Our goal as the QSET is to provide an environment where students can develop industry transferrable skills through hands on experience. QSET competes in space-related competitions to challenge its members in terms of creativity and innovation relating to the frontiers of space.
