Kenya Help is a charitable organization founded by Kingston local Nancy Stevens in 2008. What started with building a brand new orphanage quickly grew to become self-sustaining farms, food programs, a water delivery system, a school, first aid and so much more.

Queens Kenya Help (QKH) is the first ever University chapter in support of Kenya Help. QKH is focused on bringing awareness to the issues that are being faced by the individuals in Ngong, Kenya as well as fundraising to help ongoing projects. For the 2016/2017 academic year, we will be raising funds to expand the Women’s Empowerment Centre built by Kenya Help in 2016 that already has a two-year waitlist!!

Unlike many other clubs and organizations at Queen’s, we work directly with the founder of Kenya Help, to ensure that Queen’s Kenya Help is raising money for what the community of really needs at the time and to ensure complete transparency about where every single dollar raised goes.
