The mission of Queen’s First Aid (QFA) is to offer emergency care to the Queen’s community without prejudice or bias. Care is provided in a competent and professional manner as directed by St. John Ambulance Council for Ontario. Members respond to all those in need through attendance at university events and as dispatched by Campus Security while on-call.

Queen’s First Aid (QFA) operates a on-call system which ensures that there are always two uniformed QFA responders ready to respond to any first aid or medical emergency twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week (during the regular academic year). The on call team is patched by radio from the Emergency Report Centre, which can be reached by calling 3-6111 from a campus phone (or 613-533-6111) or by activating a blue light emergency phone or a blue assistance phone. QFA’s presence is also seen at many events, both on and off campus, where first aid teams provide coverage free of charge.
