QISA is a network of students of Queen’s University who are united by a common interest or connection to the Indian culture. QISA offers a several opportunities catering to interests of all our members. QISA organizes the largest cultural formal on campus, a night full of South Asian culture, complete with authentic Indian food and dance. In addition to Bollywood Dance nights, movie nights, and celebration of cultural festivals, QISA is especially proud of its award-winning competitive Dance Team, which brings together individuals of different backgrounds, religions, and talents to create dance performances for competitions as well as performances around Kingston.

QISA aims to enhance the social, cultural and educational experiences of its members through a wide variety of activities, tied together by themes of common heritage. We pride ourselves on welcoming members from every corner of the globe: a diversity that illustrates the cultural richness of India itself. Our widely popular social events, community service efforts in Kingston and dance workshops are just a few of the activities that the club has to offer. Many of these events, like Diwali or QISA Formal, have become fundamental to QISA’s cause as well as our inherent responsibility to create a home away from home for so many students.
