The mandate of Heart 4 Heart is to raise awareness about congenital heart disease (CHD) on campus and in the wider Kingston community. As well as to work with our partner, Gift of Life International, to fund life-saving surgeries for children with CHD in various developing countries. Through these initiatives we hope to develop core programs to empower medical professionals in select countries that will provide reliable care while simultaneously creating sustainable pediatric cardiac surgery.

Our Club, Heart 4 Heart, is an entirely student run non-profit children’s charity that is dedicated to raising money and awareness for children with congenital heart disease (CHD), the most common birth defect in the world, in order to fund the life-saving surgeries these children desperately need. The Queen’s Chapter works together with the Chapters founded at other Canadian Universities and our partner, Gift of Life International, to further our mandate. We are composed of dedicated socially conscious students from all walks of life that share a common passion for helping others in need and who have chosen fighting CHD as a cause they wish to support.
