The Caledonias are a contemporary, all women’s a cappella group comprised of Queen’s University students, who love to sing, whether it’s a timeless classic or putting a divine twist on contemporary beats!

The Caledonias were formed in 2002 by Karen Ng and Penny Miller, in their first year while living in Vic Hall. Since then the group has grown to become one of the most popular and well-known choirs at Queen’s, performing at major campus events like Open Mic Nights at Common Ground, Spring and Winter Concerts, Charity Events, and the largest growing event on campus – the Queen’s Intercollegiate Acapella Competition!

Our goal is to learn and enjoy a variety of music while meeting other girls from all faculties and backgrounds, and to share our music with Queen’s and the rest of the Kingston Community.
