ALS Queen’s is a club devoted to raising awareness and providing support to those affected by ALS. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease, which currently affects 3000 Canadians over the age of 18. With 15 new diagnoses occurring every day worldwide! There is currently no known cure for ALS, but with the help of fundraising, research can continue to uncover more information about this disease.

ALS Queen’s works together with the ALS Society of Canada to stay current on the needs of Canadians. In addition, all funds raised are donated to the ALS Society of Canada, where the money is used for either research, or patient medical equipment. We hope that our efforts will allow research to advance, as well as increase awareness about the disease!
