The Queen’s Media and Journalism Conference is an official AMS conference that offers students at Queen’s University the unique opportunity to explore interests related to media studies and journalism. It consists of two full days of interactive workshops, simulations, discussion panels, networking sessions and presentations given by the industry’s most renowned professionals.

QMJC was created to support a growing interest amongst Queen’s students in journalism and media studies. Its purpose is to expand the amount of resources and opportunities available to Queen’s students who wish to learn more about the industry, or who want to learn how to pursue a career in areas relating to media, social media, blogging, reporting, writing and journalism.
