TEDxQueensUSalon: ReconnecTED

Historically, TEDxQueensU has hosted a taster event in the fall term to preface our main conference that occurs in the winter term. In recent years, our fall taster event has included “The Web,” which offered a platform for individuals in the QTBIPOC community to share their ideas worth spreading regarding their community’s strength, resilience, hardships, identity, and history, and “Impulse” which explored sources of motivation to ignite change in our lives while facing hardship. Throughout its history, this event has introduced TEDxQueensU to the student community, and in turn, given students a meaningful opportunity to engage with ideas and talents worth spreading.
