Winter Hiring 2018
Are you looking to get involved next year? Majority of the positions on campus are filled during the Winter Hiring period for the next year. Depending on the position, you can anticipate to start in May or September.
If you are interested in working a part-time hourly position at one of the AMS services during the next school year, you must apply during the Winter Hiring period. During the Fall Hiring period (September 2018), only applicants with eligibility may apply. Fall eligibility includes first-year students, been on exchange or at the BISC in the previous semester, or have been awarded work-study funding for the upcoming semester). Preparing to Apply
If you are considering applying to any positions, please follow the steps below.
- Check out “Opportunities” tab for a comprehensive look at all positions available within the AMS. Refer to the “FAQ” page for any additional questions.
- When you are ready to apply, click the “Apply Now” tab or visit myams.org/apply
- While on the AMS Apply interface, click “Jobs” to view the full list of the opportunities that are currently hiring*.
- Once you have found a job you are interested in, click the “Apply Now” button next to the posting. You will then need to complete the application, which will require you to respond to written question(s) and include references. If you are applying to a salaried position, you will be asked to provide a resume and cover letter as well.
*Tip! If you would like to research the job descriptions before the job postings open, use the filters and change the status from “Open” to “All States”. This is a great way to get an idea for what positions you are interested in applying to.
