The AMS Remembers Bruce Bingham Alexander
KINGSTON, ON – The Alma Mater Society is remembering the life and work of Bruce Bingham Alexander, former President of the AMS (1960), who passed away on June 1, 2022.
During his time at Queen’s (B.Comm. ‘60), Bruce served as Alma Mater Society President (1960) and on the Board of Trustees for over a decade from 1970 to 1982.
As an unrelenting supporter of Queen’s, Bruce advocated for several initiatives to promote advancement, diversity and outreach, and Queen’s Gaels football. He was also the co-founder of the Kingston and Queen’s Rowing Clubs.
On behalf of the AMS team, we send our deepest condolences to Bruce’s family and loved ones.
