TAPS 2020-2021
September 1, 2020
Kingston, ON – The AMS is deeply saddened to inform the public about the current situation regarding The AMS Pub Service (TAPS) for the 2020-2021 school year.
Due to circumstances related to COVID-19, public health regulations and University restrictions, TAPS will not be operating this school year. At this time, and for the foreseeable future, the JDUC is closed to the public. Therefore, it is not financially feasible to operate TAPS this school year.
We are disheartened to close TAPS for the year; this decision was extremely difficult for all involved to make. The decision was made in consultation with the current TAPS team however, the outcome is not easy to accept for anyone involved.
TAPS is a service and a part of Queen’s that is near and dear to the hearts of students past and present. Employees of TAPS have worked hard to operate this service. We thank the TAPS employees and commend their commitment to this service.
