2017 AMS Executive and Undergraduate Trustee Election

KINGSTON ON – The Alma Mater Society (AMS) congratulates Jenn Li, Brian MacKay and Palmer Lockridge (Team JBP) on their election as the 2017-2018 AMS Executive and Victoria Chappell on her election as the Undergraduate Student Trustee.
Team JBP received 52.61% (3492) of the vote and Aniqah Mair, Julie Tran and Landon Wilcock (Team MTW) received 43.68%(2899) of the vote with 3.71% voting none of the above.
Victoria Chappell won with 93.7% (5370) of the vote.

- Polls were open from midnight on January 30th and closed at 9pm on January 31st.
- Voter turnout for the AMS Executive election, the Undergraduate Trustee and referendum was 45.7% (7951)
- This is a higher voter turnout than last years AMS election which was 44.3%.
