Health and Dental Plan

The AMS Health and Dental Plan provides confidential and comprehensive benefits while at school, and  also provides complete and unlimited out of country coverage for the whole year (1 Sep to 31 Aug) including the time that you are not at the University (even if you are travelling overseas during the summer after your academic year).

For more information, the terms of coverage, and important documents such as claim forms, please visit myAMS.org/healthplan

Sexual Health Resource Centre (SHRC)

The Sexual Health Resource Centre is a confidential, non-judgmental, sex-positive, feminist, pro-choice, queer positive and non-heterosexist information and referral service for all things related to sex, sexuality and sexual health. They sell safer sex products (including condoms, dental dams, lubricants and spermicides) and sex toys at cost. They also have an extensive lending library, offer education outreach services, and do condom outreach at events upon request. They also offer accompaniment services for victims of sexual assault to receive treatment and for clients seeking abortion services at the Women’s Clinic. Although the SHRC is an AMS-ratified club and is funded by AMS and SGPS student fees, they will serve anyone regardless of age or student status.
