Friday Friends is an informal group mentorship program that seeks to facilitate the social and personal development of young adults with intellectual disabilities outside the usual settings of classrooms and home through interaction with students from the Queen’s community.  Volunteers and participants meet on Fridays from 6 to 8PM for a variety of social activities including movie nights, bowling, baking, crafts, board games and sports. The mandate is to provide a positive social setting in which Queen’s students and intellectually disabled young adults can interact.
