Description

Queen’s Federation of Charitable University Students (FOCUS) is a student-run society committed to mobilizing resources within the Kingston community to facilitate advocacy and community outreach. The primary objective of the club is to promote the active collaboration of Queen’s University students with the local Kingston community to encourage charitable donations in a fun, yet effective way. Additionally, volunteering within the local community provides an opportunity for the executive members to personally engage with some of the less fortunate so that they can gain the necessary understanding and motivation that will allow them to facilitate such great events.

Queen’s Federation of Charitable University Students (FOCUS) is a non-profit, student-run society committed to mobilizing resources within the Kingston community to facilitate advocacy and outreach within the Kingston community. Since its inception, FOCUS accepts to realize its goals through its community based fundraising events that have since provided over $10,000.00 in monetary support to various charitable organizations.
