Queen's Quidditch Club (QQC)

What makes you unique?:

In an attempt to counteract the mundanity of muggle sports, The Queen’s Quidditch club (QQC) is a student run organization that allows Queen’s students to enjoy the popular sport fleshed out by the Harry Potter series. The QQC strives to provide a supportive environment for students of all backgrounds to come together and partake in an increasingly popular sport. The QQC aims to provide an experience that is fun, good for health, and that allows students to come together and enjoy the exhilaration that only a good Quidditch game can provide.

What does your club do?:

The Queen’s Quidditch Club (QQC) gives students an opportunity to show their appreciation for the Harry Potter series. Although Quidditch may be a wizarding sport, leaps in muggle creativity have adapted Quidditch into a form that can be played by those who have never received their letter to Hogwarts. Quidditch is played in over 200 North American colleges and universities, with new teams being made weekly. As a recognized team by the International Quidditch Association (IQA), Queen’s will now be able to face neighboring universities and gain Quidditch Glory! The QQC offers opportunities for students to play leisurely against fellow Queen’s students, or to face-off against other Quidditch teams. Whether you want to play Quidditch to keep fit, to meet new people, or to maintain the delusion that the wizarding world does indeed exist, then the QQC is right for you!
