What Makes Your Club Unique?: 

Promoting the Hong Kong culture, which is a marriage of the rich, Chinese heritage to the sophisticated English tradition. Every year, QHKSA hosts a wide variety of events, ranging from such traditional Chinese cultural events such as Mid-Autumn Festival and Chinese New Year celebrations, to k-nites, sports tournaments, and other group outings. In addition, to facilitate the transition of First-year students to university life, QHKSA hosts the annual Countdown to Queen’s event in Hong Kong, offering advice and help to incoming students and parents.

What does your club do?: 

Queen's Hong Kong Students' Association (QHKSA) is a cultural club established under the Alma Mater Society at Queen's University. Founded in 1999, QHKSA's main objective is to create awareness of the Cantonese heritage at Queen’s and to foster better understanding betweenCantonese and other 

Queen's Hong Kong Students' Associationcultures in the community. It is our responsibility that students here at Queen's, through educational activities and social functions have the opportunity to share their cultural similarities and to enhance friendships. Furthermore, we act as a liaison between the Kingston Chinese community and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Toronto.
